New Wave Biotech awarded funding as part of UKRI’s £13.5m Engineering Biology R&D fund

UK Research and Innovation has launched a pioneering Engineering Biology R&D initiative to boosting synthetic biology's potential to tackle challenges around health, the environment, food production and sustainability with an investment of £13.5 million in leading innovators in the sector.


New Wave Biotech is proud to be selected as part of this pioneering initiative. This funding, provided by the Technology Missions Fund and delivered by Innovate UK, will support the development of crucial functionalities for our platform to scale downstream processing quicker, cheaper and more sustainably through in-silico experimentation.
